An Election Day Concert + Mini Festival + Results Party
The purpose of this event was to raise awareness about women's reproductive rights at a time in which said rights were at risk to women in Georgia. Held on Election Night, it was a combination concert, mini-festival, and election results party with the unique and inspiring twist that every last participant was a woman-owned, woman-run, or woman-empowering entity! When I was approached to plan this event in conjunction with Actor's Express Theatre, I was delighted! And by expanding the initial concert concept to include multiple vendor partnerships, I was able to help the the event double its anticipated proceed goal! Food, drinks, merchandise, entertainment, and music -- all in the name of an incredible girl-powered cause? It was absolutely a night to remember.
